Apple iPhone 3GS " No Service " Signal Losing Fix-Repair GUIDE

FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE THAT DISASSEMBLING AND RE-ASSEMBLING iPHONE 3GS HAVE HAD THIS TERRIBLE PROBLEM

DISCLAIMER: TRY THIS AT OWN RISK.

This guide, will help you to recover iPhone 3GS's GSM signal after you have opened it aniway.

Fix this problem is not impossible, requires a bit experience in soldering, few minutes, and caution.

Fixing the problem consists of simple 2 welds directly on iPhone's 3GS Logic Board.

Pictures will explain everithing in an very exhaustive way.

THE MAIN PROBLEM: Opening your iPhone 3GS, you have accidentally lost a small detail situated near the connector n°7:

it's a veryvery small inductor (picture below) IMPOSSIBLE to replace without a professional equipment of extremly precision.

Have lost this small part, is the cause of all your (signal) pains!!!

Not bad. We can bypass this.

How?

We can make 2 precise welds to bypass this lost component and then finally recover our signal.

THE STEPS:

1) totally remove with caution the black sticker "Do not remove" (visible on the picture above)

2) on the front of the logic board, you have to solder like this picture

3 ) on the back of the logic board, you have to solder like this other picture

Finished. Now, reassemble all and check your signal.

It will be slightly stronger than before!!!
